Welcome!
Hi! I’m Liz Lora and I’m an artist, musician, storyteller, entrepreneur, and mama. My work blends bold expression with mystical storytelling. Whether it’s creating art, making music, or raising my daughters, I infuse everything I do with a sense of curiosity and joy. My life and productions in various forms return constantly to themes of transformation, feminism, and resilience.
I grew up in rural New Hampshire, attended boarding school on the Seacoast, studied abroad in France and Spain, and majored in Art History at Wellesley College despite taking several detours along the way to study film (and the art of partying) at USC in Los Angeles and to run off to a meditation retreat center. This mix of adventure, passion for art and the lives of artists, spirituality, and unending curiosity would have kept me wandering permanently if not for the birth of my girls. I finally rented my first studio in downtown Manchester in 2025, as a base from where to do my creative projects as well as branding and website design. I also recently founded Boppity Bear LLC., an umbrella for my various outlets.
I love that my studio entrance is close to the statue of the Mill Girl, a tribute to 19th Century Working Women and a reminder of how much we’ve fought for to become independent and autonomous. This has turned into more of a feminist rant than an artist statement but that actually perfectly sums up my brand. 😘
